God's Whistleblower

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness,
but instead expose them.
Ephesians 5:11 (ESV)

Those who live according to the flesh
set their minds on the things of the flesh;
but those who live according to the Spirit
set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
The mind of the flesh is death,
but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,
because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God:
It does not submit to God’s law,
nor can it do so.
Those controlled by the flesh
cannot please God.
Romans 8:5-8 (BSB)

“Am I only a God nearby,” declares the LORD,
“and not a God far away?”
“Can a man hide in secret places
where I cannot see him?” declares the LORD.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?”
declares the LORD.
“I have heard the sayings of the prophets
who prophesy lies in My name:
‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’
How long will this continue
in the hearts of these prophets
who prophesy falsehood,
these prophets of the delusion
of their own minds?"
Jeremiah 23:23-26 (BSB)

Look how far you have fallen!
Turn back to me and do the works you did at first.
If you don’t repent,
I will come and remove your lampstand
from its place among the churches.
Apocalypse 2:5 (NLT)

Such people should not expect
to receive anything from the Lord.
Their loyalty is divided
between God and the world,
and they are unstable
in everything they do.
James 1:7-8 (NLT)

“And now, you priests,
this warning is for you.
If you do not listen,
and if you do not resolve to honor my name,”
says the LORD Almighty,
“I will send a curse on you,
and I will curse your blessings.
Yes, I have already cursed them,
because you have not resolved to honor me.
Malachi 2:1-2 (NIV)

There is no darkness or deep shadow
where the workers of iniquity can hide.
Job 34:22 (BSB)
What sorrow awaits those who
try to hide their plans from the LORD,
who do their evil deeds in the dark!
“The LORD can’t see us,” they say.
“He doesn’t know what’s going on!”
Isaiah 29:15 (NLT)
